In France, we have developed a partnership with the Handi-Chiens association, who train and offer assistance dogs to people with disabilities. Together, we empower people in need to achieve greater independence, regain confidence and be happier.

Running for charity​

Elanco colleagues in France set up the fundraiser projects"LesFouléesde laFaim" (Run Against Hunger) and "LesFouléesdes 4Pattes" (Support Service Dogs). Everyyear, they organize charity runs for employees orcustomers. Elanco France matches participant donationswith 1 Euro per kilometer to select local charityorganizations. Since 2020, employee donations areadditionally matched 1:1 by the Elanco Foundation!​

Sponsoring therapy dogs in Netherlands

For many years, Elanco teams in Belgium and theNetherlands have been supporting the local charity“AssistentiehondNederland” to sponsor training ofdifferent types of therapy and assistance dogs. Inaddition, our local employees have joined theorganization during our annual Day of Purpose to helpclean dog shelters, walk dogs and learn about dogtraining.

Food for people in need in Italy​

In Italy, Elanco colleagues are invested in breaking thecycle of hunger. That’s why they support differentorganizations, providing meat to the Caritas Fiorentinacanteen and organizing charity runs to raise money for theItalian Food Bank ”BancoAlimentare". In 2021,colleagues donated more than 2,000 meals – four timesmore thanin previous years.
